INT. BUS – DAY

FIONA enters the bus.

FIONA

Does anyone know where the

Center for Sustainability is?

BRYAN

Nope, sorry.

BUS DRIVER

The center for what? The Bryce

Jordan Center?

THE BUS STOPS. Ann gets on.

FIONA

Hey, Ann!

ANN

(excited) Hey Fiona, long time no see. What are you up to today?

I’m looking for the Center for Sustainability.

FIONA

Me too!

ANN

Awesome! I have no idea where it is, maybe

between the two of us we can find it.

SFX: can u tell me how to get to Sesame St. remixed

THE BUS STOPS AGAIN! Jack gets on the bus.

ANN

(whispering to Fiona)

Hey, look at that guy’s shirt.

See? It says "Center for Sustainability" on it.

FIONA

(to Jack)

Hey, nice shirt. Do you know where that place is?

JACK

The Center for Sustainability?

Yeah, I’m heading there right now.

ANN

Oh, that’s cool, we were trying to figure out where it is.

Can we follow you?

JACK

Of course!

SFX: DING sound of “request stop” in bus being pulled.

JACK

This is where we need to be

The bus stops and they disembark.

SFX: The bus pulls away. Sound of footsteps on gravel.

The sound of their voices fading as they walk away from the bus stop:

FIONA

It’s by Beaver Stadium…?

JACK

Not far from it at all…

FADE OUT

EXT. Center - LATER

SFX: crickets, windmill, wind.

JACK

So what do you guys know about the Center?

ANN

I don’t know anything, really. I’m not even sure what people mean by “sustainability.”

FIONA

Well, I’ve done some reading about sustainability, I’m pretty sure it deals with balance between society and the environment.

JACK

Oh, look here comes Jaime, probably the best person here to answer your questions. He’s the current resident living here at the Center. If you have any questions about the Center or Sustainability, well, he knows a lot about it.

BRYAN

BUS DRIVER

The center for what? The Bryce

Jordan Center?

THE BUS STOPS. Ann and Jack get on.

FIONA

Hey Ann!

ANN

(excited)

Hey Fiona, long time no see.

I’m looking for the Center for Sustainability.

FIONA

Me too!

ANN

FUCKING A!

SFX: can u tell me how to get to Sesame St. (can’t afford it)

THE BUS STOPS AGAIN! Jack, a suave 20 year old with a brown beard enters wearing a C.f.S. tee.

ANN

(whispering to Fiona)

Hey, look at that guy’s shirt.

See? It says "Center

for Sustainability" on it.

FIONA

(to Jack)

Hey, nice shirt. Do you know where

That place is?

JACK

The Center for Sustainability?

Yeah, I’m heading there

Right now.

ANN

Awesome, can we follow you?

FIONA

(voices fading)

We don't know where it is...

JACK

(voices fading)

Sure! We'll get off at the next stop...

FADE OUT

EXT. Center - LATER

SFX: crickets, windmill, wind.

JACK

So what do you guys know

About the Center?

ANN

Nothing. We don’t even know what they mean by sustainability.

FIONA

Well, I’ve done some reading about sustainability, I think it deals with balance between society and the environment.

JACK

Oh, look here comes Jaime, probably the best person here to answer your questions.

He’s the current resident living here at the Center. If you have any questions about the Center or Sustainability, well, he knows a lot about it.

Person gets on bus

1. Does anyone know where(looks at and reads off paper) The Center for Sustainability is?

2. No. Sorry. I've never heard of it.

3. (bus driver) The center for what? The Bryce Jordan Center?

(4) Sound of the Bus stopping. Someone else gets on, we hear them greeting someone else.

5. I'm looking for the Center for Sustainability ( with emphasis)

6. Yeah. Me too. sample, remixed: can you tell me how to get, how to get to sesame street "Nobody has even heard of it."

Bus stops. Someone wearing a Center for Sustainability shirt gets on.

7. TO HER FRIEND, WHISPERING. "Look at that guy's shirt!" To the passenger.Wow. That's pretty weird. Your shirt. We were just looking...Are you going to the Center for Sustainability?

8. Everything really is connected!

9.fade to crickets, then the sound of the windmill builds and fades.
