Volunteering at the Center for Sustainability

World Work is work for the world. Work that benefits the world so that others in the world may continue to work, continue to play, etc. (This also stands for my definition of sustainability - UrthBound).

Activities Coming Up

As a Center employee, UrthBound is inclined to inform you all of:

A Solar Water Heater Installation workday, Wednesday, October 18th, 10am-12pm, at the Center for Sustainability bathroom!

A Strawbale workshop on Friday, October 20th, 11am-3pm on the HUB lawn

and...

A Presentation on the American Indian Housing Initiative, Wednesday October 25th, 7pm in the Landscape Architecture building (behind Palmer Art Museum) in the main lobby. This stuff's pretty cool (so is the building..it's worth a visit).

I am committing to these windows, at which times I will be available at the Center to unpack, and receive help on, the following tasks. If you plan to help out at a certain time, you can just write it in here - or even request certain activities if you want to learn about a certain system at the Center and/or help a particular project out (because you think the rain gutter is ugly, etc.):
